*spin-off* [Lyrics|Trans] “思い出にできない (Omoide ni dekinai)” – Younha

Younha’s “Omoide ni dekinai” is another great song that I got to know thanks to Juniel. :) She covered the song on her radio Tsuki Ichi Musik 6th episode.
I like this song’s music and lyrics so much… so beautiful!
You know, my translation can’t fully express the beautiful lyrics (or maybe it might even ruin it lol.), but just I tried!
I wish some of you could feel the atmosphere~^^;

思い出にできない (Omoide ni dekinai) – Younha

lyrics by Jun (Cliff Edge) / composed by Kohei Koyama / arranged by Yoshiyuki Sahashi

Younha’s original version (ho991@youtube)

tsugi no haru niwa tabidatsu kimi wo miokuru kotoba mitsukerarezu ni
Next spring you are going to start out, I can’t find with what words I should see you off
jitensha tomete umi no mukou kara fuki tsukeru kaze ni furueteta
Stopped my bike, with the wind blowing in from beyond the sea I was shivering

hitomi tojita mama nami no oto wo kiite ita hitori
With my eyes closed, I was listening to the sound of waves alone
kimi ga daisuki desutte ienakatta kotoba sotto sotto tsubuyaita
I love you, the word I couldn’t tell you, quietly quietly I mumbled

sakura chiru kisetsu datte ano natsu no hanabi datte
In season for falling cherry blossoms, with that fireworks in summer
kimi wo kimi wo itsudatte omotteta yo
You, you are the one I’ve always been thinking of
aki no setsunasa datte hitorikiri no ibu datte
Wistful autumn, lonely Christmas Eve
itsuka itsuka omoide ni kawaru noni
One day, one day those should change into faint memories, but
nee kimi dake wa omoide ni dekinai
Hey, only you can’t I convert into a memory

umi no mukou ga mitai to itte sora wo miageta kimi no hitomi ni
You said you wanted to see the other side of the ocean, and looked up to the sky
itsukara darou koi wo shite ita kataomoi dato iikikasete
I wonder since when, I loved your eyes, reminding myself it was a secret crush

nani mo kowaku nai to waratta kimi no senaka ga itsuka

You said nothing scared you with smiles, Even if one day your back
mienai hodo hanarete umi wo tobikoete mo kitto kitto wasurenai
Jumped across the sea as further as I can’t see anymore, surely, surely I won’t forget you

bokutachi no hane wa kitto sorezore no sora ni notte
Our wings surely become the skies of each of us
tooku takaku ima wo oikoshite yuku
Further, highly, they leave behind the present
ato ni nokoru nowa kitto koukai janakute kitto
What remains is surely not a regret, surely
sore wa sore wa seishun ga otosu egao no tane
That is, that is a seed of smiles that youth drops
sou hatsukoi wa omoide ni dekinai
Yes, first love I can’t convert into a memory

kimi wo suki ni natte koi no nigasa shitta
I loved you and I knew the bitterness of love
dareka no tame ni namida nagaseru nante hajimete datta
First time that I was able to shed tears for someone else

sakura chiru kisetsu datte ano natsu no hanabi datte
In season for falling cherry blossoms, with that fireworks in summer
kimi wo kimi wo itsudatte omotteta yo
You, you are the one I’ve always been thinking of
aki no setsunasa datte hitorikiri no ibu datte
Wistful autumn, lonely Christmas Eve
itsuka ituska awai omoide ni natte
One day, one day those become faint memories
bokutachi no hane wa kitto sorezore no sora ni notte
Our wings surely become the skies of each of us
tooku takaku ima wo oikoshite yuku
Further, highly, they leave behind the present
ato ni nokoru no wa kitto koukai janakute kitto
What remains is surely not a regret, surely
sore wa sore wa seishun ga otosu egao no tane
That is, that is a seed of smiles that youth drops
sou kimi dake wa omoide ni dekinai
Yes, only you I can’t convert into a memory
omoide ni dekinai
I can’t convert into a memory
